By Aaditya Sharma: Redmi Note 12 Pro+ goes on sale in India for the very first time today. Interested buyers can head over to Flipkart or mi.com to purchase the device. As a part of the first sale, Redmi is providing discount offers on all three Redmi Note 12 series phones. The top-end model, aka Redmi Note 12 Pro+ officially comes for a starting price of Rs 29,999 but if you buy the phone during the first sale, you will be able to grab it for a much lower price. Here is how.

First, let’s take a look at the price of the phone and check out its variants. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes in two variants -- 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. As for the price, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ starts at a price of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM model. It goes up to Rs 32,999 for the top-end 12GB RAM model. The smartphone is available on Mi.com, Flipkart.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio, and Mi Preferred partners.

Now, as a part of the introductory offer, Redmi has partnered with ICICI Bank to offer an instant discount of Rs 3000. So, after applying for the discount the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 8GB RAM model can be bought at Rs 26,999 while the 12GB RAM model will be available for 29,999. Now for these prices, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ looks like a great option to consider. Additionally, the company is also offering Rs 1000 off for existing Xiaomi/ Mi and Redmi smartphone users, which brings the effective starting price of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ to Rs 25,999. Flipkart is also offering extra discount on exchange offer in case you wish to sell your old phone to get the new Redmi Note phone.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ comes packed with a 6.67-inch Pro AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 support. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone packs a 200-megapixel primary camera coupled with an 8-megapixel + a 2-megapixel camera on the rear panel. On the front, the phone includes a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is backed by a 4980mAh battery unit coupled with 120W HyperCharge support . The phone comes bundled with a 120W wired charger in the box. The company claims charging the phone fully in juts about 19 minutes.
