By Aaditya Sharma: Realme has launched the Realme 10 4G in India, days after its biggest domestic rival Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 12 5G series in the country. The Realme 10 4G sits alongside the Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro Plus late last year. Unlike its 5G siblings, the new Realme 10 offers 4G connectivity and the phone includes dual cameras on the back instead of three sensors. It is also powered by MediaTek's G99 chipset, and the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.

Realme 10 4G price in India

The Realme 10 4G's price in India starts at Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model, while the top-variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 16,999. Realme is also offering bank offers, and early customers can buy the smartphone for Rs 12,999 and Rs 15,999, respectively. The sale will begin on January 15 (midnight) on Flipkart and official Realme channels.

In contrast, the Realme 10 Pro's price in India starts at Rs 18,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the 10 Pro Plus costs Rs 24,999 for the same storage option. Xiaomi's Redmi Note 12 5G's price in India starts at Rs 17,999 (excluding offers).

Realme 10 4G specifications

In terms of design, the new Realme 10 4G looks identical to the Realme 10 Pro. The smartphone comes in two colours, Clash White and Rush Black, unlike the Pro model, which is available in an extra Blue tone. Otherwise, the bottom spine includes a single speaker chamber, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Type-C port for charging. The sides include volume rockers and a SIM card slot.

The Realme 10 4G comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display with a 360Hz touch response rate, Full-HD+ resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display also offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Under the hood, the Realme 10 packs MediaTek's G99 chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Realme says that at this price range, UFS 2.2 gives an edge over eMMC as it provides faster read and write speed, and handles multiple commands simultaneously.

On the back, Realme has provided two camera sensors, though the phone lacks an ultra-wide camera. The dual camera system on the Realme 10 4G includes a 50-megapixel camera sensor and a 2-megapixel black-and-white camera. The front panel comes with a 16-megapixel shooter inside the hole-punch cutout on the top left.

The smartphone includes a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The company claims the Realme 10 4G can attain a charge from 0 to 50 per cent in 28 minutes with the bundled charger.
